LG Nike Berlin

The LG Nike Berlin was a German Athletics Community consisting of the athletics departments of Berlin clubs SV Prussia Berlin , SC Berlin was 88 Berlin, SC Eintracht Berlin and LAC Olympia.

It was founded in 1998 to specifically enable top sport in athletics. Founding members were the SC Charlottenburg , SV Preußen Berlin, SC Eintracht Mahlsdorf and LAC Olympia 88 Berlin.

Successful athletes in the athletics community were Claudia Marx , Uta Pippig , Mike Fenner , Anja Neupert and André Niklaus . The women's 4 x 400 meter relay won gold at the German Championships in Ulm in 2006 , making it the fourth title in a row.

After the main sponsor Nike ended its commitment, the dissolution of the LG was announced in October 2013.
