The soccer department of the Prussians was founded in 1993 when the financially troubled team of SG Eumako Weißensee joined . Eumako was relegated in 1993 from the newly founded Association League Berlin and Prussia therefore entered the fifth-class Landesliga Berlin in the 1993/94 season . The home ground was the Buschallee stadium . In the following season, the bankrupt PFV Bergmann Borsig also joined SV Preußen, so that the still young club could take its place in the Oberliga Nordost .

In the end, only three regular players of the former GDR league team changed to SV Preußen . The only league season in Berlin, in which they were immediately relegated with FC Neubrandenburg with just eight points in the season, was also without a chance . In the next two seasons, the club , which later appeared as Preußen Weißensee , was able to hold the class in the Verbandsliga Berlin, but also rose in 1997 from the top Berlin division. After the Prussians ran out of finances, the soccer department re-established the Weißenseer FC and ended the short-term soccer epoch of SV Prussia, which focused on athletics. At the sporting level, the WFC in Berlin was no longer higher-class.
