Dennis Malura was born in Berlin , but grew up in Solingen .

Career

After his youth at 1. FC Union Solingen , Malura played for the same club in the Oberliga Nordrhein in attack. After moving to Wuppertaler SV Borussia in 2005 , Malura made 86 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord , as an attacker and in midfield. For the 2008/09 season, Malura moved to Kickers Offenbach to contest the first third division season with the completely newly formed team . He was substituted on on the first day of play. From the 2009/10 season he transferred to also in the 3. Liga playing traditional club FC Rot-Weiss Erfurt . Malura mainly played on the right defensive flank in Erfurt. He scored his first goal on April 30, 2010 in a 1-1 draw against SV Wehen Wiesbaden .

After a total of 66 games for RWE, he moved to the second division TSV 1860 Munich in the summer of 2011 , where he was intended to replace Antonio Rukavina , who was to leave the club, in the right-back position. He was on the starting line-up in the first two games of the season, as well as in the cup match in Osnabrück . There he was replaced at halftime for Rukavina, who had now stayed with TSV 1860. After that, Malura was no longer in the starting XI, he was substituted on once. For the second team in the Regionalliga Süd , he played four times in late summer and autumn and scored one goal. During the winter break he left the Munich Lions after only half a year.

Malura went back to the 3rd division and joined 1. FC Heidenheim . There he immediately took over the regular position as right defender. At the end of the 2011/12 season , the Swabians had the second best defense in the league with only 36 goals conceded and achieved the best club result in professional football with fourth place. The 2013/14 season was even more successful , with the FCH becoming champions of the 3rd division and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2015/16 season, Malura moved to FC Viktoria Köln .

For the 2016/17 season, the right-back moved to the fourth division club Rot-Weiss Essen on a free transfer . There he signed a contract until 2018. He played 57 games for the traditional club and scored three goals. In the summer of 2018, Malura returned to Wuppertaler SV . Before the 2019/20 season he joined the upper league promoted TVD Velbert , but returned to Solingen after one season, where he has been active for 1. FC Solingen in the eight-class district league A since the 2020/21 season .
