HC Prussia Berlin

The handball club Preußen Berlin was a Berlin handball club .

The club was founded in 1990 and from January 1991 took over the handball players of 1. SC Berlin, which emerged from SC Dynamo Berlin . In the 1990/91 season , the last season of the GDR handball league , HC Preußen Berlin came second and qualified for the handball Bundesliga . In addition, the team won the last FDGB Cup . Before the 1991/92 season, the men's team joined SV Blau-Weiß Spandau .

In 1995 the HC was withdrawn from its legal capacity by a decision of the Charlottenburg District Court because it had fewer than three members, and in 2002 the association was deleted after liquidation .
