Jens Lause (born October 30, 1968 ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Jens Lause started playing handball at SG Dynamo / Motor Staßfurt in 1972 . From 1982 he ran for SC Dynamo Berlin , with which he became GDR champion in 1990 . From January 1991 the 1.89-meter-tall left winger played for HC Preußen Berlin , with which he won the FDGB Cup , which was last held in 1991 , and from 1991 to 2001 for the Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo , with which he won the DHB Cup in 1995 and 1997 , 1997 won the German Championship and 1996 the European Cup Winners' Cup . After the end of his professional career, Lause worked in the marketing department of the TBV. In addition, he played from 2001 to 2003 at third division HSG Augustdorf / Hövelhof , with whom he in 2002 in the 2. Bundesliga climb, and was 2003-2007 coach of the second team of TBV Lemgo.

Lause runs an agency for sports marketing and advice.
