Ruben Schott (born July 8, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Schott began his volleyball career in 2002 at SV Preußen Berlin . He later moved to Berlin TSC and in 2008 to SCC Berlin , with which he became German U18 champion in 2009. In 2010 the outside attacker went to VC Olympia Berlin and was appointed to the junior national team. In January 2013 Schott was brought back by Bundesliga club Berlin Recycling Volleys , where he immediately became German champion . In the 2013/14 season he was able to repeat this success with the club and also reached the final in the DVV Cup . For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the Bundesliga competitor Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland . In 2015 Schott returned to Berlin and was again German champion here in 2016 , winning the DVV Cup and the CEV Cup . Since 2016 he has also played in the senior national team . In 2017, Schott defended the German championship title with the Berliners and became vice European champion with the national team in Poland . He then moved to Italy to Revivre Milan and in the following year 2018 to Poland to Trefl Gdańsk .
