Anja Neupert

Anja Neupert (born October 10, 1978 in Berlin ) is a former German athlete who specialized in the 400-meter hurdles .

She started working for LG Nike Berlin in 1997 . With the Berlin 4 x 400 meter relay , Neupert was German champion four times in a row from 2003 to 2006. In 2004, he won the title in the hall with the 4 x 200 meter relay. In her individual discipline, the 400 meter hurdles, she became German champion in Braunschweig in 2004 .

Internationally, Neupert won the bronze medal at the Universiade 2003 with the German 4 x 400 relay. She had been in the lead over the hurdles in the final, but then got stuck on the tenth hurdle and was eliminated. In 2004 she finished fourth at the European Cup and set her personal best in Madrid in 55.48 seconds. At the 2005 World Championships , she was a substitute runner for the German relay. In 2007 Neupert ended her career.
