The men's high jump at the European Athletics Championships 2010 was held on July 27 and 29, 2010 in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in the city of Barcelona .

In this competition the Russian high jumpers won a double victory. Alexander Schustow became European champion . Silver went to Iwan Uchow . The Briton Martyn Bernard took third place.

qualification

July 27, 2010, 7:10 p.m. 27 participants competed in two groups for the qualifying round. The qualification height for the direct entry into the final was 2.29 m. None of the athletes went to this height after the decision about participation in the finals had already been made. The top twelve high jumpers reached the final (highlighted in light green). For the qualification, a jumped 2.26 m was enough for a maximum of one failed attempt.
