Hanna Serhijiwna Titimez ( Ukrainian Ганна Сергіївна Тітімець , English transcription Hanna Titimets; born March 5, 1989 in Pavlohrad ) is a Ukrainian hurdler and sprinter .

Athletic career

At the Junior European Championships 2007 she won the silver medal with the Ukrainian sprint relay and finished eighth over the hurdles. A year later, she finished fourth at the Junior World Championships , as well as at the U23 European Championships in 2009 . At the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin, she was eliminated from over 400 m hurdles in the preliminary run. At the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , she reached the semi-finals over 400 m hurdles and was fifth in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the Ukrainian team .

In 2011 she reached the semifinals of the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Paris over 400 m and was sixth with the Ukrainian 4 x 400 meter relay. Over 400 m hurdles she won silver at the U23 European Athletics Championships in Ostrava and reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Daegu .

In 2012 she advanced over 400 m hurdles at the European Championships in Helsinki and at the Olympic Games in London to the semi-finals.

In the following year she won the 400 m hurdles at the Universiade 2013 in Kazan and came fourth at the World Championships in Moscow .

In 2014 she won silver at the European Championships in Zurich and came fourth in the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech . At the European Championships in Amsterdam in 2016 and at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Because of a doping offense , Hanna Titimez was banned for two years from April 3, 2017. In addition, all results between June 26, 2012 and June 26, 2014 have been deleted.
