Tom Farrell (hurdler)

Tom Farrell (actually Thomas Stanley Farrell; born September 23, 1932 in Liverpool ) is a former British hurdler and middle distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he was eliminated from over 400 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

In 1958 he reached the semi-finals for England starting at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff over 440 yard hurdles. At the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm he came in fourth place over 400 m hurdles.

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , he reached the quarter-finals over 800 m .

In 1957 he was English champion over 440 yard hurdles, in 1960 over 800 m.
