June Foulds

June Florence Foulds , after marriage to Paul, (born June 13, 1934 ) is a former British athlete and Olympian.

She celebrated her first major success at the European Championships in Brussels in 1950 , when she became European champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay , together with Elspeth Hay , Jean Desforges and Dorothy Hall . She also won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run .

At the XV. At the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki she won the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay, together with her teammates Sylvia Cheeseman , Jean Desforges and Heather Armitage , behind the teams from the USA and Germany .

At the XVI. At the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne , Australia , she won the team silver medal, along with her teammates Anne Pashley , Jean Scrivens and Heather Armitage , behind the team from Australia (gold) and ahead of the team from the USA (bronze).
