Irina Sergejewna Chabarowa ( Russian Ирина Сергеевна Хабарова , English transcription Irina Khabarova ; born March 18, 1966 in Sverdlovsk ) is a Russian sprinter .

Life

She took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney in the 200-meter run , but was eliminated in the preliminary round. At the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton and the 2002 European Championships in Munich , she reached the semi-finals over this distance. She also won the bronze medal in Munich with the Russian 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , she won the silver medal in the relay together with Olga Fjodorowa , Julija Tabakowa and Larisa Kruglowa . There she started in the 100-meter run and reached the quarter-finals.

At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , she reached the semi-finals over 200 meters. At the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 , she was third in the 100-meter run and won the relay. At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 meters.

She was also twice Russian champion in the 200-meter run (2002 and 2004).

Irina Chabarowa is 1.70 m tall, has a competition weight of 63 kg and starts for Dynamo Yekaterinburg.
