Jamile Sara Samuel (born April 24, 1992 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch sprinter .

Athletic career

Jamile Samuel gained his first international experience in 2008 at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she finished sixth in the 200-meter run in 23.76 s and was eliminated in the semifinals over 100 meters with 11.79 s. In addition, she retired with the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay with 45.21 s in the first round. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the Junior European Championships in Novi Sad in the 100-meter run and was eliminated there with 12.05 seconds. In 2010 she again took part in the Junior World Championships in Moncton , Canada , where she won the bronze medals over 100 and 200 meters in 11.56 s and 23.27 s, and also with the relay in 44.09 s. Then she received a starting place in the relay for the European Championships in Barcelona , in which she did not qualify for the final with 44.70 s. The following year, she won the silver medal over 100 and 200 meters behind the Briton Jodie Williams at the Junior European Championships in Tallinn in 11.43 s and 23.31 s respectively . In addition, she was disqualified with the relay in the run-up. With the relay she also took part in the World Championships in Daegu and did not reach the final with 43.44 s.
