Tessa van Schagen (born February 2, 1994 in Leiden ) is a Dutch sprinter .

Career

The IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics in Spanish Barcelona they finished sixth in the relay in the final. In 2013 she won two bronze medals at the 2013 European Junior Championships over 200 meters and with the relay. In 2015 she was fourth and missed a medal in the 200 meters and relay at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn . At the 2016 European Championships in her home country, she won the gold medal with the relay and celebrated her greatest success to date. Over 200 meters she reached the finals with a new personal best, where she finished seventh. At the 2016 Olympic Games, she failed both over 200 meters and with the relay in the preliminary round.
