Ashleigh Nelson (born February 20, 1991 ) is a British sprinter .

Over 100 m she won bronze at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Ostrava and silver at the 2008 Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz.

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2012 , she reached the semifinals over the same distance. In 2013 she won the bronze medal with the British team in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow . At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 , she also took third place in the relay with the English team. She won her first title at a major international event a short time later at the European Championships in Zurich . The British relay to Asha Philip , Ashleigh Nelson, Jodie Williams and Desiree Henry ran there in a national record time of 42.24 seconds to gold. Nelson also won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run.
