At the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow ( Scotland ), 44 athletics competitions were held, 22 each for men and women. These took place in Hampden Park , with the exception of the marathon, which was held on a circuit in the city center. The 20 km walk for men and women was no longer on the program .
