Zane Robertson

Zane Robertson

Zane Robertson (born November 14, 1989 ) is a New Zealand long-distance runner .

At the 2011 World Cross Country Championships in Punta Umbría, he finished 92nd.

In 2013 he came in 14th place at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow over 5000 m . The following year he was twelfth over 3000 m at the 2014 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Sopot . Over 5000 m he won bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and came second at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .

In 2015 he finished second in the Kagawa Marugame Half Marathon and stayed as the fourth non-African runner over this distance under an hour.

He has lived in Iten with his twin brother Jake Robertson since 2007 . He trains in Kenya and Ethiopia .
