Mario A. Ferrero (* 1904 , † 1965 ) was an Italian astronomer and physics lecturer.

On August 30, 1930, together with Max Wolf, he discovered a total of two asteroids at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory ( IAU code 024).

Ferrero worked at the Turin observatory in Pino Torinese in the 1930s and later taught physics at the Polytechnic University of Turin .

The asteroid (7684) Marioferrero was named after him.
