Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino

The Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino (also known as Pino Torinese ; German Astronomical Observatory Turin ) is an astronomical observatory in Italy .

The observatory is operated by Italy's Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF, National Institute for Astrophysics). It is located at the top of a mountain near the town of Pino Torinese and was founded in 1759 . The Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino has the IAU code 022 .
