The 39th IAAF World Cross Country Championships (official 39th IAAF World Cross Country Championships 2011 ) found in Spanish on March 20, 2011 Punta Umbria ( Huelva instead).

The council of the IAAF World Athletics Federation awarded the organization of the event on November 21, 2009 in Monte Carlo.
