Jacob Araptany
Jacob Araptany (born February 11, 1992 in Kaproron ) is a Ugandan obstacle runner .
Araptany won the bronze medal in the obstacle course at the 2010 World Junior Athletics Championships in Moncton. In 2011 he was ninth in the junior race at the World Cross Country Championships in Punta Umbría and took third place in the Nations Cup with the Ugandan team. At the Junior African Athletics Championships in Gaborone, he won the bronze medal in the obstacle course and was tenth in the 800-meter run .
His first notable adult result came in sixth in the obstacle course at the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu.
