World Cross Country Championships 1989
The 17th IAAF World Cross Country Championships the IAAF took place on 19th March 1989 on the Scanvest ring in Stavanger ( Norway instead). For the first time, a race for juniors was part of the program.
The men started over a distance of 12 km, the women over 6 km, the juniors over 8 km and the juniors over 4 km.
