John Schondelmayer

John Schondelmayer (born December 9, 1971 in Stuttgart-Degerloch ) is a German long-distance runner .

Schondelmayer took sixth place at the German Championships in the 10,000 meter run in 1994 and 1996. In 1997 he won the Stuttgart run and came in 18th in the Frankfurt Marathon . In 1998 he was German champion in the half marathon and came 18th in the Berlin marathon . He also finished 18th overall in the Hamburg Marathon the following year . In the ranking of the German Marathon Championships , he was fifth. At the end of the year he won the Bietigheim New Year's Run . In 2000 he finished second at the German championships in the 10,000 meter run .

John Schondelmayer started for SG Ludwigsburg until 1999 and has been with the Sparda team in Rechberghausen ever since .
