Daria Nauer (born May 21, 1966 ) is a former Swiss long-distance runner .
Career
In 1993 she set a Swiss record in the 5,000 meter run at 15:18 , which has only been exceeded by Anita Weyermann since then .
Her greatest success was then winning the bronze medal in the 10,000 meter run at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 . Her time of 31: 35.96 mins at that time is to this day (as of July 2018) the Swiss record over this distance.
In 1994 she won the Vancouver Sun Run (10 km) in 32:55 minutes. In 1998 and 1999 she won the Kerzerslauf (15 km). At the Berlin Marathon in 1999 , she set eighth place in the marathon with 2:32:38 h , and the following year she took part in this discipline at the Olympic Summer Games in Sydney and came in 38th.
