Candle run

The Kerzerslauf is a running event in Kerzers in the canton of Friborg that has been held every year on the third Saturday in March since 1979. An exception was 2020, as the Kerzerslauf could not take place this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

The original route is 15 kilometers long. It leads from the start in Kerzers to the Aare and back to the destination in Kerzers. In addition, a short distance of 5 km and various school runs and, from 2019, a 10-kilometer run will be offered.

The Kerzerslauf was part of the Post-Cup from 2005 to 2010 .
