Stéphane Schweickhardt

Stéphane Schweickhardt (born September 14, 1960 ) is a former Swiss long-distance runner .

In 1992 he finished fourth in the Ticino Marathon . At the World Half Marathon Championships he did not reach the finish line in Oslo in 1994 , finished 112th in Belfort in 1995 and tenth in Palma in 1996 . In 1997 he won the Kerzerslauf . At the Half Marathon World Championships in Košice he ran in 13th place and at the European Cross Country Championships in Oeiras in 43rd place. The following year he came in at the European Athletics Championships in 1998 in Budapest over 10,000 m in 17th place, in the half marathon World Championships in Uster on rank 31 and won the Murtenlauf. In 1999 he won the Reuss run and finished 16th in the Paris Marathon .

He was Swiss champion four times in the 10,000 m (1996, 1997, 2001, 2002), three times each in the 25 km road run (1989–1991) and in the half marathon (1995, 1998, 2001) and once in the cross country run (1997).
