European Cross Country Championships 1997

The fourth European Cross Country Championships the EAA took place on 14. December 1997 in Oeiras ( Portugal instead). For the first time, junior competitions were part of the program.

The men started over 9.3 km, the women and juniors over 5.4 km and the juniors over 2.8 km.
