European Cross Country Championships 2006
The 13th European Cross Country Championships the EAA found in the December 10, 2006 San Giorgio su Legnano ( Italy instead). For the first time, U23 competitions were part of the program.
The competition coincided with the 50th edition of the Campaccio cross-country run . At the sports field of the Unione Sportiva Sangiorgese a 1920 m long loop had been set up, which could be shortened to 1875 m. There was also 350 m between start and finish. The men completed five large laps (9.95 km), the women and U23 men four large laps (8.03 km), the U23 women and juniors three small laps (5.975 km) and the juniors two small laps (4th , 1 km).
