Christian Glatting

Christian Glatting (born December 28, 1986 ) is a German long-distance runner .

In 2005 he became German cross-country champion for the first time in the A-youth .

In 2007 he became German junior runner-up in cross-country skiing and third in the senior championships over 5000 and 10,000 meters .

The following year he was national junior runner-up over 5000 meters, and in 2009 he was again third in the seniors over the same distance.

In 2010 he won the national title in cross-country running, won bronze at the cross-country student world championships and was German champion over 10,000 meters . With 28: 40.18 min he also undercut the qualification norm for the European Championships in Barcelona , where he was the best German ninth.

Christian Glatting has been working for TV Wattenscheid 01 since 2007 (previously for LSG Aalen ) and is trained by Tono Kirschbaum. He is studying medicine at the Ruhr University in Bochum .
