Andrea Lalli
Andrea Lalli (born May 20, 1987 in Florence ) is an Italian long-distance runner .
In 2006 he won the junior race at the European Cross Country Championships in San Giorgio su Legnano .
In 2008 he came in 70th place at the World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh and won the U23 race of the European Cross Country Championships in Brussels . The following year he won silver over 10,000 m at the U23 European Championships in Kaunas in 2009 and, with an 18th place at the European Cross Country Championships in Dublin, contributed to winning the bronze medal for the Italian team.
In 2010 he was seventh over 10,000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona and sixth at the European Cross Country Championships in Albufeira . At Stramilano he finished seventh in 2011 and second in 2012.
At the European Cross Country Championship 2012 in Szentendre he achieved his greatest success to date with a victory in the individual ranking and bronze in the team ranking.
In 2013 he finished seventh in the Udine half marathon and third in the Venice marathon .
In 2008 and 2009 he was Italian cross-country champion .
