European Cross Country Championships 2001

The 8th European Cross Country Championships the EAA took place on 9. December 2001 in Thun ( Switzerland instead).

The course in the Thun military area consisted of a 1500 m long loop with a 150 m distance between start and finish. The men completed six laps (9.15 km), the juniors four laps (6.15 km), the women three laps (4.65 km) and the juniors two laps (3.15 km).
