European Cross Country Championships 2011

The 18th European Cross Country Championships the EAA took place on 11. December 2011 in Velenje instead. The Slovenian city ​​hosted the EM for the second time since 1999.

The race took place on the south bank of Lake Velenje on a large lap of 1500 m and a small lap of 500 m. The men completed six large and two small laps (10 km), the women and the U23 men five large and one small laps (8 km), the U23 women and the juniors four large laps (6 km) and the juniors two large and two small laps (4 km).
