Nadia Ejjafini
Nadia Ejjafini (born November 8, 1980 ) is an Italian long-distance runner of Moroccan origin who temporarily competed for Bahrain .
In 1998 she was fourth over 5000 m at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Annecy.
In 2003, starting for Bahrain, she finished 44th in the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis . In 2004 she finished second in the Naples Marathon, but did not finish in the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens . The following year she finished 41st in the marathon of the World Championships in Helsinki .
In 2006 she won the Parelloop , the Corrida de Langueux and the Tilburg Ladies Run 10K . In 2007 she repeated her victory in Langueux with a course record and set the current Bahraini record as fourth in the Milan Marathon with 2:37:25 h. She was then nominated for the Olympic Games in Beijing , but did not start there.
She is married to an Italian and received her husband's citizenship on September 20, 2009.
