The Milan Marathon (official name Milano City Marathon ) is a marathon in Milan that has been running since 2000, with one exception always in late November or early December. In terms of course records, he is the fastest in Italy .
The start of the flat course has been in Piazza Castello at the foot of Castello Sforzesco since 2007 . First it goes to the old town with the Milan Cathedral , then clockwise on a large tour around the city center. At km 31 the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium (San Siro) is passed. The goal is on Corso Sempione, not far from the start.
