The Copenhagen Half Marathon (officially: Copenhagen Half Marathon or CPH Half ) is a Danish running event where the world's elite meet, but which is also open to recreational athletes. The sporting event is organized by the Danish Athletics Association and Denmark's largest running organizer, Sparta Athletics & Running . The half marathon in Copenhagen was awarded the IAAF Road Race Bronze Label by the International Athletics Association in the first year of 2015 , the IAAF Road Race Silver Label and, from 2017, the IAAF Road Race Gold Label.

The Copenhagen Half Marathon has a fast route that enables record times. In the 2018 half marathon, eight runners stayed below the 60-minute mark. In 2019, Geoffrey Kamworor set the world record for a half marathon with 58:01 minutes.

The half marathon in Copenhagen starts and ends on Øster Allé, in the middle of the city park Fælledparken . Then the route runs through different parts of the city of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg - from Østerbro , Nørrebro and Vesterbro to Frederiksberg and back to the city center.

Qualification (elite)

Elite runners will be assigned a starting place according to their reported time. The qualification times for the elite field must have been achieved in an official run.
