JoongAng Seoul Marathon

James Kipsang Kwambai - the Kenyan marathon winner of 2011, 2012 and 2013

The JoongAng Seoul Marathon is a marathon that takes place annually in November in Seoul . Launched in 1999 by the JoongAng Ilbo newspaper as a 10 km run and half marathon , the 42.195 km route has been part of the program since 2002.

organization

The start is near the Olympic Stadium in the southwestern borough of Songpa, through which the first part of the course runs. The second part consists of a turning point route that leads south out of the city towards Seongnam . The finish is in the Olympic Stadium.

The 19th race was held here on November 5, 2017.
