Jason Mbote (born January 5, 1977 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2003 he won the 25 km from Berlin . In his debut over the 42.195 km distance he came in 2004 at the Berlin Marathon in 17th place in 2:13:42 h. The following year he climbed to 2:08:30 h as second in the Frankfurt Marathon . In 2006 he later became the winner of the Seoul International Marathon when the first-placed Gert Thys was disqualified because of a positive doping test, and set a course record at the JoongAng Seoul Marathon with 2:08:13.

In 2007 he finished fifth in the Seoul International Marathon and sixth in the Amsterdam Marathon . In 2008 he set his personal record as runner-up in the Seoul International Marathon with 2:07:37. In 2009 he finished fourth in the same position.
