James Kipsang Kwambai (born February 28, 1983 in Marakwet District ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

Athletic career

In 2002 James Kipsang set a course record in the Marseille - Cassis race . The following year he was third in the Berlin half marathon . In 2003 and 2004 he won the Udine Half Marathon, 2005 Roma - Ostia and the Bogotá Half Marathon .
