World's Best 10K is a 10 km road race that takes place every February in San Juan , Puerto Rico's capital .

In 1998 the race was held for the first time as the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge Race on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the opening of the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge between San Juan and Carolina . In the first two years it was a regional matter, in 2000 it was decided to invite top international athletes.

In 2001, the event was given its current name in order to underline the global leadership position, which is based on the flat and fast route as well as the impressive prize money.
