Zeineba Yimer ( Amharic ዘይነባ ይመር ; born June 17, 1998 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .
Athletic career
Zeineba Yimer gained her first international experience at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , where she finished tenth in the U20 classification after 19:32 minutes and won the gold medal in the team classification.
The following year, she finished fifth at the 2018 Half Marathon World Championships in Valencia in 1:08:07 h and became Ethiopian Half Marathon Champion.
At the beginning of February 2019 they finished third in the RAK half marathon in 1:05:46 h and in June they set a new course record in Valencia in a 15 km road race with 46:52 minutes. In August she won the silver medal in the 10,000 meter run behind her compatriot Tsehay Gemechu at the Africa Games in Rabat in 31: 57.95 minutes .
