Half Marathon World Championships 2014

The 21st Half Marathon World Championships (officially: IAAF World Half Marathon Championships 2014 ) took place in Copenhagen on March 29, 2014 . The World Athletics Federation IAAF awarded the event to the Danish capital at its meeting from November 9th to 11th, 2011. This was the second time that the competition took place in a Scandinavian country after Oslo in 1994.

Amateur athletes had the opportunity to take part in a mass race that started at the same time as the men's elite field. Almost 27,000 participants reached the goal here.
