Mercy Jerotich Kibarus

Mercy Jerotich Kibarus (* 1984 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2005 she finished fourth at the night of Borgholzhausen and won the Hamburg half marathon .

After the birth of two children, she returned to competition in 2008 under the guidance of Italian trainer Gabriele Nicola and won the Turin Half Marathon and the DeeJay Ten in Milan.

In 2009 she came second in the Luxembourg Europe Marathon .

In 2012, after a three-year break from competition, she returned with a win at Marseille - Cassis . In spring 2013 she finished fifth in Roma - Ostia and in the Prague Marathon . In autumn she won the Porto Half Marathon and the Venice Marathon . In 2014 she finished fourth at the Paris Half Marathon , fifth at the World Half Marathon Championships in Copenhagen and eighth at the Hamburg Marathon .

In 2015 she was second in the First Lady's Half Marathon and the Orlen Warsaw Marathon .
