Edwin Hodge

Edwin Hodge (born January 26, 1985 in Jacksonville , North Carolina ) is an American actor .

Life

Edwin Hodge was born in Jacksonville , North Carolina , but spent most of his childhood in New York . He had his first supporting role in the 1995 film Die Hard: Now more than ever . He won a Young Artist Award in 1998 for his role in the horror comedy Shadowzone 2: Voodoo in the Classroom . This was followed by a few individual appearances in major television series, including Grey's Anatomy , Heroes and CSI: Miami .

In 2013 he played the character of Dante Bishop in the movie The Purge . He also embodied this role in the two sequels of the film, The Purge: Anarchy (2014) and The Purge: Election Year (2016), making him the only actor to have starred in the first three parts of the series.

His brother Aldis Hodge is also an actor.
