Aldis Hodge (born September 20, 1986 in North Carolina ) is an American actor .

Life

Aldis Hodge was born in North Carolina in 1986. His parents were serving in the United States Marine Corps at the time . At the age of three he was already in front of the camera for commercials. In 1994 he got a small role in the Tony- winning Broadway play Show Boat . He had his first film role in Die Hard: Now all the more at the side of Bruce Willis . This was followed by other small film roles and numerous guest appearances in television series such as NYPD Blue , Amy , Boston Public , Cold Case and Supernatural . In 2008 he was cast for the television series Leverage , in which he plays the criminal computer specialist Alec Hardison alongside Timothy Hutton and Gina Bellman , who together with his colleagues helps people in need through no fault of their own. He held the role until the end of the series in 2012.

In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.

His older brother, Edwin Hodge , is also an actor.
