Gina Bellman

Gina Bellman (born July 10, 1966 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is a British actress .

Life

Bellman was born to Russian - Polish Jews who emigrated from England to New Zealand in the 1950s . When she was eleven, the family moved back to England.

At age 14, Bellman played at the National Theater in the play The Crucible . Her first professional role, according to her own account, was a supporting role as Tamar in the 1985 film adaptation of King David . She became known in 1989 through the book adaptation of Blackeyes . Another well-known role (outside of the UK probably the best known) is that of Jane in the BBC - sitcom Coupling . In addition, she played in films such as You are still alive 7 days and Paranoid as well as some plays.

2007 seemed Bellman at a modern and Coupling - Author Steven Moffat written BBC miniseries called Jekyll with. In 2008, she took on the role of cheater Sophie Devereaux in the TNT series Leverage , which she played until the end of the series in 2012.
