Francis Kiprop (marathon runner, 1982)
Francis Kiprop (born June 4, 1982 ) is a Kenyan running track runner who specializes in the marathon .
In 2006 he was eighth in the Paris marathon in 2:10:40 h and seventh in the Amsterdam marathon . The following year he finished third in the CPC Loop Den Haag and improved to 2:09:49 in eleventh in the Amsterdam Marathon.
In 2008 he finished fourth at the Seoul International Marathon in 2:08:30 h, set a course record at the half marathon Carinthia runs with 1:00:59 h and was tenth at the Berlin Marathon . In 2009 he finished eighth in the Rome marathon and second in the Berlin marathon, and in 2010 sixth in the Rotterdam marathon .
In 2011, a third place in the Madrid Marathon was followed by a victory in the Beijing Marathon .
