Verena Dreier (born January 15, 1985 in Kirchen ) is a German athlete who won the German obstacle course championships in 2005 and 2006 . In 2007 she achieved the title of German runner-up on this route, and in 2008 she finished third. In 2009 and 2011 she was runner-up in each case.

Your personal best in the obstacle course is 9: 48.90 min (2006). Verena Dreier started at the beginning of her running career for LG Sieg / TuS DJK Herdorf. Her trainer was Sybille Link-Willwacher until June 2008. Verena Dreier trained from October 2008 under Heinz Weber, who also looks after Sabrina Mockenhaupt .

In January 2011 Verenas moved to SG Wenden, her new trainer is Egon Bröcher. Under his direction, Verena achieved second place over 3000 meters obstacle at the German Championships 2011 and qualified for the European Cross Championships.

After graduating from high school, Verena Dreier completed her training as a physiotherapist and has been working in this profession ever since. The greatest successes were the fifth place at the U23 European Championships in 2005, a fifth place at the European Cup in 2004 and 2005 and a fifth place at the Junior World Championships in 2004. There are also numerous appearances in the national jersey and their successes at national level.
