Susanne Mair (born March 9, 1994 in Bannberg ) is an Austrian long-distance runner and multiple national champion.

Career

In 2010 Susanne Mair became Austrian junior champion mountain run and she was able to repeat this success twice in the following years.

In April 2015 she won the half marathon at the Vienna City Marathon . In August, she was seriously injured during training in an accident with a mower. In February 2018, the then 23-year-old won the "Vertical-Up" in Kitzbühel.

After taking third place at the state ski mountaineering championships, Mair won the second competition of the “Vertical Up Tour 2020”, the “Xtreme Up” race in Selva in Val Gardena, in February 2020.

Susanne Mair lives in Innsbruck and starts for the Union Raika Lienz association .
