Sebastian Hallmann (born January 7, 1977 in Altenerding ) is a German long-distance runner .

At the German Cross Championships in 2000 and 2006, he won over the long distance. At the German Championships in 2008 he won over 10,000 meters. In 2009 he was runner- up behind Filmon Ghirmai over the same distance, and also runner-up in cross-country and 10-km road running. At the Cross Country World Championships in 2000 , he finished 30th over the short distance. In 2009 he was the only German representative to take part in the World Cross Country Championships in Amman, where he finished 104th. At the German Mountain Running Championships in 2017 , he finished fifth. At the 2017 World Mountain Running Championships in Premana (Italy), he finished as the best German in 21st place overall.

At the TransAlpine Run 2017 he won every stage as an individual finisher.

Sebastian Hallmann starts for LG Telis Finanz Regensburg and is trained by his father Burkhardt Hallmann. He is a qualified political scientist and head of the Freising Citizens' Office of the CSU state parliament member Florian Herrmann .
