Eduard Moritz Jacoby (born September 17, 1845 in Randers ; † July 1, 1909 ) was a Danish doctor and politician .

Jacoby came from a Jewish family in Randers and was the son of the businessman Jacob Jacoby and his wife Pauline, nee. Meyer. He became a doctor, practiced at Frederiksberg Hospital from 1871 to 1882 and was chairman of the Frederiksberg Commune Council for the period from 1896 to 1908 . Politically he was liberal and he became a pioneer in voting for Social Democrats and Liberals. He was one of the leading forces in the construction of the new facility of the Frederiksberg Hospital in 1900. He was also involved in the design of Fredriksberg's city coat of arms, which he proposed to the council in 1899 for elaboration.

On November 6, 1901, he was knighted by the Dannebrog Order .

On July 28, 1873 he married Gerda Elizabeth Pehrsson (born August 3, 1854) on the Askerødhof in Skåne .

Jacoby lived with his family in a villa at Old Kongevej 149.

Jacobys Allé ( 55 ° 40 ′  N , 12 ° 32 ′  E ) was named after him as early as 1906.
